Information MapSnap uses
MapSnap does not require an account. It does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information. It does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking, social features or location services.
MapSnap stores only the following information on the device:
- game progress, best scores and play preferences;
- an optional additional city selected by a parent in the England Cities activity; and
- a local record that a verified MapSnap World purchase or access-code redemption has unlocked additional activities.
This information stays on the device unless the user independently backs up or transfers the device using Apple services. MapSnap does not receive it.
Children
MapSnap is designed for children and families. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchase controls and external links are placed behind a parental gate.
Purchases and access codes
Gameplay works offline. If a parent chooses to buy or restore MapSnap World, or redeem an individual access code, Apple processes and verifies that transaction. MapSnap does not receive payment-card information. Apple’s own privacy terms apply to its services.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, login systems or third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may process basic connection information, such as an IP address, to deliver the website securely and reliably.
Support emails
If you email us for support, we use the information you provide only to understand and respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will also be reflected in MapSnap or its App Store listing where appropriate.

Map data notice
MapSnap includes an offline Credits, data & privacy page with map-source attribution and a map-use disclaimer. Map geometry is provided for learning and gameplay, not for navigation, surveying or legal-boundary use.
